2010 Selection Laurence Feraud Chateauneuf du Pape (90-92) points The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape (80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre aged in tank and foudre) is a full-bodied, rich, concentrated effort revealing lots of black and red fruits intertwined with pepper, incense, camphor and Provencal herbs. This impressive 2010 Chateauneuf should drink well for 10-12 years. 2011 Selection Laurence Feraud Cotes du Rhone 87 points Under the moniker Selection Laurence Feraud, the 2011 Cotes du Rhone is primarily Grenache blended with a small amount of Syrah. It exhibits good intensity for a 2011, along with sweet strawberry and black cherry fruit intermixed with herb, licorice and underbrush characteristics. 2009 Selection Laurence Feraud Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret les Pialons 90 points A brilliant offering is the 2009 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Seguret Les Pialons. Seguret is a top spot for quality, and this blend of 90% Grenache and the rest mostly Syrah and a little Mourvedre offers abundant aromas of ripe kirsch, lavender, dusty, loamy soil, pepper and spice. It is a medium to full-bodied, lusty red to drink over the next 3-4 years. NV Selection Laurence Feraud Plan Pegau Lot #2010 87 points As for the Domaine du Pegau estate wines, the non-vintage Plan Pegau Lot 2010 comes from the Vaucluse and Gard sectors of the southern Rhone. Some of this is declassified Chateauneuf du Pape from Pegau blended with other acquisitions. The wine is dense and rich with lots of roasted herb and spice notes.
